Alibaba Cloud founder Wang Jian stated in an interview with Bloomberg that most of today's AI technologies, services, and applications have yet to touch the essence of technology.

He envisioned that 90% of the new developments emerging after the ChatGPT craze may disappear within the next 5-10 years. He also likened the AI race to a marathon, believing that the industry is still in its early stages and companies have not yet established real barriers.
