Li Chuangqi, XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)  +0.250 (+0.470%)    Short selling $1.00B; Ratio 14.947%   's AI glasses project leader, revealed that the project was approved by the company's founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun himself, according to Chinese media outlet Sohu Tech.

Xiaomi's first AI glasses quickly sold out upon release, and their sales have exceeded the team's expectations several times, Li added.
