The US and China are engaged in trade negotiations in Stockholm, the US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said. One potential outcome of the talks could be a 90-day extension of the trade truce with China, but it remains subject to the decision of US President Donald Trump.

The negotiations in Stockholm are led by Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, with delegations from both sides attending. In previous rounds of US-China negotiations, the US agreed to lower tariffs and loosen certain technology controls.
