US and Chinese economic officials held the latest round of economic meetings in Stockholm, Sweden, for over 5 hours, according to Reuters. Representatives from both sides left the venue at around 8 pm local time without responding to questions from reporters. The talks are expected to continue today (29th).

The US-China trade truce is set to expire on 12 August, and it is anticipated that the tariff truce and export control suspension will be extended by 90 days, facilitating plans for a meeting between the US and Chinese leaders in late October or early November 2025.
