China Unicom and China Unicom Digital Technology recently announced the pre-qualification notice for the '2025 China Unicom General-Purpose Server Centralized Procurement Project', planning to invest RMB7.963 billion (excluding tax) to purchase 87,000 sets of general-purpose servers to support the construction of the 'Computing Network Digital Intelligence' main business.

The centralized procurement is divided into two packages. Of which, package one includes 8,625 sets of Intel CPU servers with a budget of RMB895 million.
