The US and China initiated a new round of trade talks today (28th) in Stockholm, Sweden, co-chaired by He Lifeng, the Vice Premier of the Chinese State Council, and Scott Bessent, the US Treasury Secretary.

US President Donald Trump stated yesterday (27th) during a press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Scotland that they are very close to reaching a trade agreement with China. However, he did not disclose any details.
