In 1H25, China exported a total of 3.48 million cars, marking an 18% YoY increase, according to Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

Among them, 1.42 million were new energy vehicles (NEVs), up 41% YoY, accounting for 41% of total exports, a 7 ppt growth compared to the same period in 2024.
