During a seminar held by the China Photovoltaic Industry Association today (25th) in Shanxi, Wu Guogang, a second-level inspector from the Electronic Information Department of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), said that the department will implement a series of measures, including actively regulating industry development, promoting the orderly exit of obsolete capacity, and strengthening the guiding role of policies, to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the photovoltaic industry.

Wu also mentioned that standards guidance and intellectual property protection will be optimized to assist industrial technological innovation, improve testing standards and the intellectual property system, and regularly conduct quality inspections to provide solid support for the high-quality development of the industry.
