Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has denied rumors of his resignation, stressing that media reports are not accurate. During his meeting with former Prime Ministers Taro Aso, Fumio Kishida, and Yoshihide Suga, the issue of his tenure wasn't touched by any of them.

The latest poll by Kyodo News shows Ishiba's cabinet approval rating has fallen to 22.9%, the lowest since he took office in October, and over 51% of respondents believe Ishiba should resign.
