The National Civil Aviation Mid-Year Work Teleconference for 2025 was recently held. The conference focused on effectively carrying out civil aviation work for 1H25.

Song Zhiyong, Administrator of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), stressed during the meeting the need to ensure overall stability in safety conditions, continuously improve flight operation efficiency, optimize the route network layout to actively serve the expansion of domestic demand and opening up to the outside world, accelerate the establishment of a unified large market in the civil aviation sector, and comprehensively rectify "involutionary" competition within the industry.
