According to foreign media, the European Commission is drafting a plan to prohibit rental car companies and large enterprises from purchasing non-EVs for their fleets starting in 2030, Morgan Stanley released a research report saying.

The broker believed that this significant for CATL (03750.HK)  +1.200 (+0.280%)    Short selling $114.54M; Ratio 11.416%   's structural growth trajectory in the EU, as using products with slow degradation can enhance the economic efficiency of vans and shared mobility.

The EU's annual van sales were approximately 1.5 million units, implying a total battery market amount of 200-300 GWh, while the current penetration rate of electric vans was only 8%.
