The Chengdu Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, along with the Chengdu Municipal Education Bureau, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources and 3 other departments, jointly issued the 'Notice on Several Measures to Promote the Stable and Healthy Development of the Real Estate Market.'

The notice proposed the phased cancellation of home sale restrictions in Chengdu, while maintaining the triple circuit breaker (5-year sale restriction), talent qualifications for home purchase and targeted home sale restriction policies unchanged.

Districts are encouraged to further subsidize home purchase down payments directly, i.e. increasing cash and policy support. The down payment ratio for the second home under the housing provident fund will be reduced from 30% to 20%. All of the above policies are effective immediately.
