In response to the hot sales of "zero kilometer used cars" in the automotive market in Mainland China, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) recently held closed-door meetings with industry organizations and automakers, clearly demanding strengthening full-process supervision and establishing a credit evaluation system, Chinese media reported.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) plans to implement a new policy prohibiting the conversion of new cars to used cars which are dealt within six months of registration.
