China's Fourth Central Guidance Group focused on the "Comprehensive Rectification of Irrational Competition in the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Industry" and conducted in-depth research at the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

They held discussions with leaders from BAIC Group, BYD Group, and the CAAM to understand the progress, gather opinions and suggestions, and study measures to address key issues. The aim is to resolve difficult problems and promote the orderly competition in the NEV industry.

The head of the Guidance Group, Che Jun, stressed the need to recognize that irrational competition in the NEV industry is prone to recurrence and requires persistent rectification. A long-term governance mechanism should be established to promote standardized competition in the automotive industry.

Companies should be guided to drive product quality improvement and industry upgrades through technological innovation and standard-setting, promoting high-quality industry development. Leading companies, in particular, should compete rationally and legally, serving as exemplars.
