China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has recently launched defect investigations into 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products.

The SAMR urged these manufacturers to carry out recalls and eliminate vehicle safety hazards. The main defects involved protective devices, roof rails, vehicle body reflective markings, and driver seat departure warning functions, all of which failed to meet national mandatory safety standards and posed safety risks.

The recall involved 10 commercial vehicle manufacturers including Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles and Faw Jiefang Automotive, covering a total of 56 models and 1,675 vehicles.
