Hong Kong's Transport and Logistics Bureau put forward today (15th) a legislative proposal to regulate online ride-hailing services.The proposal suggested ride-hailing drivers be required to obtain licenses. The number of licenses will not be capped. The Hong Kong government aims to submit the amendment bill in 3Q25 and complete the review within this year.
