Li Chenggang, China's International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce, met with a delegation of member companies led by Michael Hart, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China). The two sides exchanged views on issues such as Sino-US economic and trade relations and the development of American firms in China.

The cooperation between China and the US benefits both, while confrontation harms both, Li said. The two countries should choose dialogue over confrontation, and engage in mutually beneficial cooperation rather than zero-sum games.

The Sino-US economic and trade teams held talks in Geneva and London, achieving positive results. He hoped that the US and China will work for the shared goal to jointly maintain the stable, healthy and sustainable development of China-US economic and trade relations.
