In its research report, HSBC Global Research kept its outlook on TENCENT (00700.HK)  +2.000 (+0.386%)    Short selling $667.18M; Ratio 8.666%   's core business unchanged, projecting an 18% growth in its 2025 advertising revenue.

The broker also stressed that its confidence was even bolstered by continuous improvements in TENCENT's advertising technology, increased advertising budgets driven by the growth of mini-games, benefits from higher query volumes and click-through rates in search advertising, and video accounts.
