As investors continued shrugging off concerns over new tariffs, US stocks were on an uptrend Thursday.While the S&P 500 closed up 17 points or 0.3% at 6,280, the Nasdaq also inched 19 points or 0.1% higher to close at 20,630, both hitting record-breaking closes. The DJIA, after opening lower, managed a rebound and once surged as much as 317 points.
