China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) held the fourth enterprise fair competition symposium of 2025, themed
“Maintaining Fair Competition Market Order and Promoting High-Quality Development of the Private Economy”.

Representatives from eight companies, including Goldwind, GWM, Du Xiaoman, Vipshop, NetEase, and SF Express, delivered speeches and provided opinions and suggestions on strengthening fair competition governance.

The SAMR Deputy Director Meng Yang attended the meeting and introduced a series of recent policy measures and efforts to address prominent issues affecting fair competition for private enterprises.

He stated that the administration will reinforce fair competition reviews, strengthen anti-monopoly regulatory enforcement, and improve investment and merger review efficiency to create a favorable market environment and broader space for the development of private enterprises.
