HENDERSON LAND (00012.HK)  -0.200 (-0.753%)    Short selling $26.37M; Ratio 28.846%   opened nearly 5% lower at HK$26.95. Approximately 654,000 shares were traded, involving HK$17.94 million.

After the market closed yesterday, the group announced plans to issue guaranteed convertible bonds with a principal amount of HK$8 billion, maturing in July 2030, with a coupon rate of 0.5%.

The initial conversion price of the bonds is HK$36 per share, representing a premium of approximately 27% over HENDERSON LAND's closing price the previous day.
