US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that the US has already collected approx. US$100 billion in tariff income YTD, and it is expected to exceed US$300 billion by the end of the year, according to foreign media.

The large-scale tariffs imposed by the US government began in 2Q25, Bessent added. The Congressional Budget Office estimated the total tariff income over the next 10 years to reach about US$2.8 trillion, but believed that this figure may be low.
