The Macau gaming industry had a strong start in July, Macquarie released a research report saying. Channel data shows that, for the week ended 6 July, the average daily GGR amounted to MOP716 million, representing a 30% YoY increase.

This is believed to be driven by large events such as Jacky Cheung's concerts, which boosted visitor traffic, as well as high VIP win rates. Compared to June level, mass rose by 2-4%, while VIP remained stable, with win rate ranging from 3.3-3.5%, compared to 2.9-3.1% in 2024.
