US President Donald Trump announced 25% tariffs on imports from Japan and South Korea, immensely impacting ADR shares of Japanese and South Korean companies listed in the U.S. on Monday. Japanese automakers, such as Toyota (TM.US)      and Honda (HMC.US)      , sagged over 4%.

Several Japanese companies listed in the U.S., including SoftBank (SFTBY.US)      and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial (MUFG.US)      , dived over 3%; Mitsui & Co. (MITSY.US)      slid 2%, and Sony (SONY.US)      declined 1%.

South Korean companies were also affected, with LG Display (LGL.US)      , a subsidiary of South Korea's LG Group, plunging more than 6%.
