XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)  -0.950 (-1.620%)    Short selling $958.00M; Ratio 16.169%   is said to be ending its partnership with Leica, but Wang Hua, General Manager of Public Relations Department at XIAOMI-W, directly criticized the rumor as nonsense.

XIAOMI-W is focusing on developing its own camera technology for next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 devices, and that it is terminating its partnership with Leica to reduce production costs and enhance its pricing advantage, as Leica's licensing fees can be as high as US$3-US$5 per handset, the report quoted sources as saying.
