AIA (01299.HK)  +0.300 (+0.439%)    Short selling $348.12M; Ratio 16.062%   recorded four bulk trades last Friday (4th) in pre-market session, which involved an aggregate of approx. 394 million shares or a total share capital of about 3.7%, valued at around $26.8 billion.

The seller is AIA's long-term investor, Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), according to Bloomberg News. Since the stake reduction did not exceed 5%, the trade did not meet the threshold for mandatory disclosure of equity changes.
