With markets shedding light on China-EU EV talks, BYD COMPANY (01211.HK)  +1.200 (+0.988%)    Short selling $683.41M; Ratio 40.372%   fell 1.1% to HKD120.2, and LI AUTO-W (02015.HK)  -0.100 (-0.094%)    Short selling $350.13M; Ratio 36.552%   dipped 0.7%.

MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)  +3.200 (+2.689%)    Short selling $1.13B; Ratio 15.295%   , after issuing large-scale food delivery coupons and surpassing 120 million daily instant retail orders, opened 1.2% lower at HKD119.4. JD-SW (09618.HK)  +2.900 (+2.324%)    Short selling $194.84M; Ratio 16.489%   sank 0.2%, and BABA-W (09988.HK)  +1.600 (+1.518%)    Short selling $969.99M; Ratio 11.138%   opened 1% lower at HKD104. BIDU-SW (09888.HK)  +3.050 (+3.551%)    Short selling $137.07M; Ratio 18.639%   , following the release of its MuseSteamer video generation model, opened 0.9% lower.

Other tech stocks were mixed. TENCENT (00700.HK)  +2.500 (+0.498%)    Short selling $836.48M; Ratio 12.627%   opened 0.3% lower. NTES-S (09999.HK)  +3.200 (+1.533%)    Short selling $176.62M; Ratio 19.094%   was flat at HKD210. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK)  +3.250 (+5.159%)    Short selling $828.51M; Ratio 23.548%   gained 1%. BILIBILI-W (09626.HK)  +3.800 (+2.185%)    Short selling $162.63M; Ratio 13.336%   and KINGDEE INT'L (00268.HK)  +0.020 (+0.135%)    Short selling $62.76M; Ratio 14.940%   lost 1.7% and 2.2%, respectively. Chip makers SMIC (00981.HK)  +1.350 (+3.047%)    Short selling $138.32M; Ratio 4.443%   and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK)  +0.550 (+1.565%)    Short selling $87.61M; Ratio 11.501%   edged up 0.8% and 1%.
