US President Donald Trump stated he is close to completing several trade agreements in the coming days and will announce higher tariff rates for other countries by Wednesday (9th), effective August 1, foreign media reported.

US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick pointed out that the higher tariff rates will take effect on August 1, with Trump currently setting the rates and agreements, providing a three-week grace period for countries.
