The Chinese government plans to issue cash subsidies to families with newborns to encourage childbirth, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Chinese government plans to distribute subsidies nationwide to children under the age of three who are born in compliance with legal regulations starting January 1, 2025, until they reach the age of three.
