TENCENT (00700.HK)  -4.200 (-0.838%)    Short selling $256.89M; Ratio 3.528%   established the Tencent WeTech Academy in March 2025 to provide students with opportunities to learn programming and AI. Zhou Boyun, Director of Tencent WeChat Strategic Research Institute, revealed that the total number of mini program projects created by teenagers on the WeChat mini program education platform as of now has exceeded 130,000, many of which have been officially applied in social life.

Hong Kong Education City and Tencent WeTech Academy inked a Memorandum of understanding (MOU), and both parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in areas such as teacher training course development and e-learning resource sharing.
