Cainiao Group, the logistics arm of BABA-W (09988.HK)  -1.100 (-1.036%)    Short selling $1.26B; Ratio 11.309%   (BABA.US)      , announced that it has officially begun trialing its self-developed "smart light strip" technology at five self-pickup points in Hong Kong to enhance service quality.

The smart light strip technology is an innovative device designed for warehouse item location. Each parcel is equipped with a keychain-sized smart box featuring a QR code, barcode, internal chip, and LED light. When a customer comes to collect a parcel, staff can enter the pickup code and the corresponding parcel will automatically light up and emit sound signals, helping employees quickly and accurately locate it.
