Sun Hongbin, Executive Director and Chairman of SUNAC (01918.HK)  +0.040 (+2.685%)    Short selling $23.14M; Ratio 4.568%   , recently attended the shareholders' meeting in person for the first time since the company was embroiled in financial difficulties, according to the 21st Century Business Herald.

During the meeting, Sun discussed SUNAC's debt restructuring progress and future development direction and expressed optimism about industry trends, Chinese media reported, citing attendees.

Through project sales and debt restructuring, Sun revealed that SUNAC has already achieved leverage reduction and significantly shrunk its scale. Despite challenges, he remains optimistic about future development, expecting this year's performance to be better than last year's. He also stressed that SUNAC's most difficult times have passed.
