China's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for June came in at 49.7, narrowly above the street consensus of 49.6, and up by 0.2 ppts from the previous month, indicating sustained improvement in the manufacturing sector's economic conditions, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed.
