HKEX: New Revised Settlement Fee Structure for Stock Trading on HK Exchange Effective Today

The newly revised settlement fee structure for stock trading on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong takes effect today (30th), facilitating the implementation of the reduction in the minimum spreads in Hong Kong securities market, according to a prior announcement by HKEX (00388.HK)  +4.400 (+1.051%)    Short selling $300.35M; Ratio 15.505%   and Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited (HKSCC).

Starting from June 30, the settlement fee for stocks in the Hong Kong market will be adjusted from 0.002% of the transaction amount to 0.0042% of the transaction amount, and the minimum charge of HKD2 and the maximum charge of HKD100 will be canceled.
