On the stock futures settlement day, the HSI concluded lower by 41 points or 0.2% at 24,284; the HSCEI dipped 41 points or 0.5% to 8,762; and the HSTECH lost 3 points to 5,341. The market turnover for the day aggregated HKD275.115 billion.

Xiaomi's EV YU7 received nearly 290,000 orders within an hour of public sale, with ADR leapfrogging nearly 10%. Its H-shares opened 8% higher at HKD61.45, a new high, and closed up 3.6% at HKD58.95, with a turnover of HKD28.7 billion.
