The USD Index shed to its lowest since late February 2022 in the Asia-Pacific morning session, bottoming at 97.45, and last reporting at 97.49.

US President Donald Trump is considering announcing the successor to Fed Chair Jerome Powell in September or October, aiming to undermine Powell's position, the Wall Street Journal reported.
