The A-share market surged yesterday (25th). Securities Times quoted statistics from Wind as saying that the total market value of A-shares surpassed RMB100 trillion on that day, setting a new historical high.

By industry, the total market value of the banking sector amounted to approx. RMB15 trillion. For individual stocks, the market value of ICBC(601398.SH)  -0.220 (-2.850%)   and others exceeded RMB2 trillion, while multiple individual stocks such as KWEICHOW MOUTAI(600519.SH)  -16.910 (-1.191%)   and CATL (300750.SZ)  -1.800 (-0.712%)   had a market value exceeding RMB1 trillion.
