In 5M25, China's telecom industry recorded a cumulative revenue of RMB748.8 billion, representing a YoY increase of 1.4%, according to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Calculated at constant prices from the previous year, the total telecom business volume managed to make a leap of 8.6%.

As of the end of May, the number of 5G mobile phone users surged to 1.098 billion, accounting for 60.8% of mobile users, marking a net increase of 84.14 million from the end of the previous year.
