As of the end of May, the total number of 5G base stations in China reached 4.486 million, a net increase of 235,000 from the end of the previous year, accounting for 35.3% of the total number of mobile base stations, an increase of 0.4 ppts from the first month, according to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
