VMS Group, regarded as the official broker for the Cheng family, major shareholder of NEW WORLD DEV (00017.HK)  -0.100 (-1.739%)    Short selling $35.15M; Ratio 37.574%   , planned to enter the cryptocurrency market.

Elton Cheung, Managing Partner of VMS Group, said in an interview with foreign media that the Group plans to inject up to US$10 million into the decentralized finance hedge fund Re7 Capital, though the exact allocation size has not been finalized.
