The General Office of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) issued a notice on the organization and launch of the NEV consumption season activities in thousands of counties and towns for 2025 saying that it is necessary to promote the in-depth replacement of auto "energy".

Localities should seriously implement the car trade-in policy, set up a special zone for vehicle trade-in in the venues of the NEV consumption season activities, and organize the launch of more marketable and suitable NEVs to better meet the diverse car purchase needs of the public in county and township areas.
