During the annual general meeting held by Japanese carmaker Nissan (7201.JP) on Tuesday (24th), a number of shareholders demanded accountability from the management for the company's disappointing results, Reuters reported.

Over the past year, Nissan's stock price has tumbled by around 36%. The dividend payments have also been suspended. For the fiscal year ended March 2025, the company recorded a net loss of USD4.5 billion. It has yet confirmed whether it can return to profitability this year.
