Geopolitical situation in the Middle East cooled down. US President Donald Trump announced ceasefire between Israel and Iran. Iranian state TV reported that Iran ceased fire against Israel. The three major US stock index futures boomed. The DJIA futures last inched up 196 points or 0.46% to 43,097, while S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures last added 0.53% and 0.75%.

The major stock markets in the Asia-Pacific region prospered this morning (24th). The HSI continued its yesterday's uptrend, and opened 143 points or 0.6% higher at 23,832 before its gain widened in the morning session. The index once advanced 505 points to a high of 24,194, and last climbed 495 points or 2.1% to 24,185. The HSTECH jumped up 2.5% to 5,318, with a Hong Kong stock turnover of $123.928 billion.

This morning, the stock peaked at an all-time high of $17.28, and swelled 6.79% to last at $16.98, with a turnover of $577 million.
