The local bakery chain Taipan Bread & Cakes ceased operations entirely, according to hearsay. Notices were posted outside the headquarters and several branches this morning (24th), stating that the company is forced to officially cease operations from today, due to numerous unpredictable and irresistible shocks recently.

Three shops of Taipan Bread & Cakes respectively located at Choi Hung Station, Tai Wai Station, and Whampoa Station have already closed, recent report revealed. According to the official website, Tai Pan currently has 12 branches across Hong Kong.
