The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) plans to hold a Data Summit on July 28 to explore the use cases of CargoX under the Commercial Data Interchange, the arrangements for interfacing between the banking industry and the government's Consented Data Exchange Gateway, updates on the commercial credit database, and cross-border data verification, the Hong Kong Economic Journal reported, citing sources.

An HKMA spokesperson only responded that active preparations are underway with all parties involved, and details will be announced in due course.
