Russian President Vladimir Putin held a conference call with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saying that Russia is willing to mediate in the conflict between Israel and Iran, and hopes to communicate with leaders of multiple countries.

The Moscow Kremlin said the leaders of the two countries exchanged views on the tense situation in the Middle East during their meeting, and believed that the current situation could have extremely negative consequences for the entire region, urging Israel and Iran to cease fire as soon as possible.

Moreover, Putin expressed his hope to end the Ukraine conflict through peaceful means as soon as possible, and is willing to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a certain final stage of resolving the conflict.

However, if Russia and Ukraine cannot reach an agreement through peaceful means, Russia will achieve its set goals through military means.
