The standard version of the Xiaomi YU7 has even higher specifications than the SU7 Pro as its standard equipment features LiDAR, 800V fast charging, and long battery life, said Lu Weibing, President of XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)  +1.000 (+1.885%)    Short selling $685.92M; Ratio 14.481%   . Consequently, the price of the YU7 won't be cheap as the group aims to push the envelope in products, technology, and user value.

Lu also revealed that XIAOMI-W is conducting R&D on automotive chips on the XringO1 chip platform, and more chips will be launched in the future.
