The unemployment rate of China for urban youth aged 16 to 24, excluding students, sank from 15.8% in April to 14.9% in May, marking the lowest level in 11 months, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

This represented a monthly decrease of 0.9 ppts and an ongoing shrinkage for three consecutive months.
