GUM released the May 2025 MPF Market Analysis Report. As of May 30, the total assets of the MPF market increased by 3.8%, reaching HK$1.39 trillion. In May, MPF members' sentiment turned neutral, with equity funds recording a net inflow of approximately HK$440 million, while fixed income funds saw a net outflow of HK$370 million.

In terms of capital flow, global bond fund experienced the highest net outflow of HK$799 million in a single month. Mixed asset fund and Greater China equity fund saw net outflows of HK$435 million and HK$418 million, respectively, in May.

The DIS Core Accumulation Fund remained the most popular during the month, with a net inflow of HK$698 million, followed closely by U.S. equity fund and European equity fund, which received net inflows of HK$646 million and HK$505 million, respectively, indicating a return to risk assets by members.
