JD-SW dabbled in the food delivery market this February. When asked the reason behind the group's foray and his view on competition with MEITUAN-W (03690.HK)  -4.500 (-3.376%)    Short selling $528.66M; Ratio 14.504%   , Liu responded that competition is beneficial for the industry’s sustainable development in the long run. Beyond competition, the group places greater emphasis on the fresh food supply chain behind food delivery as it aims to rely on the supply chain instead of selling meals at the front to make profits, Liu added.
